Yesterday the Haydn to Hip Hop class -me included- took a trip to the Twin Cities to a place called the HSRA and it was awesome! At first every time we saw someone we hard no idea what to say or do so we just shyly stood in a cluster and didn't really talk to anyone. The first person we met was Tony who is the "Director" of the school and helps everybody out. The two people that our group really got connected to was Alie and MoeCash who really helped us start feeling comfortable at HSRA and also helped us create a song/rap with the help of Jake. Everyone at that high school was kind, said hello, and asked us where we were from. Which is Mountain Lake not Mountain Dew MoeCash. It was really great to see MoeCash perform and also hear many other students at HSRA rap or sing towards the end of the day. After that amazing experience our class went to Hell's Kitchen for dinner and had some delicious food and even better desserts. Sadly we had to ride all the way home on a bus and then wake up in time to make it to school by eight o'clock today. I'll never forget the HSRA and the talented people I met there and I look forward to seeing some of you at our Pop Concert in May. I hope
Some of my favorite music is: Eye of the tiger, Don't You, Another One Bites The Dust, Paradise,Take On mMe, Livin' On A Prayer, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Thriller, We Will Rock You, Footloose, I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight, Kiss, Push It, Walk This Way, We Built This City, Ice Ice Baby, I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, The Final Countdown, Paradise City, I'm Walking On Sunshine, I Wanna Rock, We're Not Gonna Take It, Jukebox Hero, Any Way You Want It. These are all great songs that have been played, sung, or redone by many different artists and are all on youtube, iTunes, or any other place you find awesome music. The 80s was the time of ROCK and everyone who was anybody during this period of time was rocking on the stage and pouring their hearts and soul to give the best show they possibly can. Every man or woman who was on the big stage was a legend in his/her own way and was a hero to everyone who ever wanted to be famous. Their music is still famous, great, and played/sung/performed all over the world and is still AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
